Funding & Partnerships

Invest in the next generation.

Threads for Change is seeking funding partners who share our commitment to supporting young people aged 16–24 into employment and training. Together we can transform donated clothing into opportunity.

Why partner with us?

Youth unemployment in the UK stands at 16.4%. Behind that number are real young people — talented, motivated, and locked out of opportunity. Threads for Change exists to change that, using sustainable fashion as the vehicle.

By partnering with us you'll be investing in young people, in local communities, and in sustainable circular fashion — with measurable social impact. We are actively seeking our first partners to help launch this programme.

Ways you can support us

We're looking for partners across six areas. Every contribution — large or small — directly funds a young person's future.

Financial investment or grants

Fund a full cohort, a single workshop series, or contribute to our core operating costs. All funding goes directly to programme delivery.

Donated vintage stock

Unwanted clothing, deadstock fabric, or vintage pieces become the raw material our young people learn to sort, repair, style, and sell.

Retail or warehouse space

A pop-up space, a market stall pitch, or a storage unit — physical space is one of our biggest needs as we scale.

Apprenticeship and training partnerships

Offer an apprenticeship placement or co-deliver a training module. Help us create real, accredited pathways into your industry.

Creative and marketing support

Photography, branding, social media, copywriting — if your team has creative skills, we'd love to collaborate.

Volunteers or mentors

Share your expertise directly with young people. Whether you work in fashion, retail, tech, or business — your experience matters.

We're not asking for charity. We're asking for investment — in people, in communities, and in a more sustainable way of doing fashion.
